Eutectic holdover plates are mounted in a rugged lightweight enclosure and connected to the refrigeration condensing unit. (Photo) Two or three fans mounted at the top of the unit draw air up and over the enclosed plates, then discharges the air through protective grills for circulation throughout the truck body. The trucks 12 volt electrical system powers the fans.
Temperature ranges: +18°F, 0°F and -9°F
Units can be sized to fit most all Johnson refrigerated truck bodies.
