The POWERPlatform™ from Johnson is an in-body drop floor system that holds up to 3,000-lb. of refrigerated product. Ideal for DSD Direct Store Delivery, the POWERPlatform quickly lowers driver and product to street level for fast delivery of everything from Dairy, Meat, and Keg Beer, to Vending Products and Packaged Ice. It is estimated that drivers can save up to one hour of route delivery time.
Because the POWERPlatform eliminates the traditional lift gate at each delivery stop, driver productivity is increased and fatigue and worker compensation claims are decreased. POWERPlatform also offers ergonomic benefits: The lift may be positioned so the driver can retrieve boxes without bending or back strain.
