ArcticTherm® Interior Liner
Every seam is glassed and sealed by experienced technicians to lock out moisture. Johnson's ArcticTherm liner option meets FDA food contact requirements. It is smooth, easy to clean and provides maximum strength (2,200-psi puncture resistance) for heavy-duty loads.
Outstanding Thermal Efficiency/image/image_gallery?uuid=5a19eef0-b650-4527-adf9-b320d0aed8a4&groupId=73980&t=1391012992422
Outstanding Thermal Efficiency
The framework for wall and roof panels is made of welded steel that is completely covered in foam insulation and fiberglass. A strong, composite thermal break is placed between the steel frame and the interior wall and roof panels to create a non-conductive barrier between structural components and interior panels.
Independent lab testing reveals that the Blizzard is 26% more thermal efficient than other truck bodies in the marketplace.
Fully Encapsulated Cross Sills/image/image_gallery?uuid=863f09c6-dd60-483d-b3a7-1be10861edcb&groupId=73980&t=1389629306739
Fully Encapsulated Cross Sills
The sealed protective sub floor finish protects the cross members and insulation from moisture intrusion, impact, and corrosion.

Composite Door Jambs
One of the many benefits to composite truck bodies are Johnson's fiberglass door jambs, which contribute to thermal efficiency because they do not conduct or transfer heat.
Body Tie-Down System/image/image_gallery?uuid=10e872a9-217f-47f0-8465-4e7dc70dcbb6&groupId=73980&t=1387553070233
Body Tie-Down System
The Blizzard's tie-down system is extremely secure and low maintenance; it eliminates U-bolts, U-bolt maintenance, filler strip compression, rot, and kick-out.
The tie-down angles are welded to the body long stringers. Angles then fasten to the chassis frame with grade 8, 5/8 inch flanged frame hex bolts.
Exclusive from Johnson, this innovative tie-down system also facilitates easy body transfer from chassis to chassis.
Seamless Composite Construction/image/image_gallery?uuid=7774096e-e9e1-45db-bdfc-242a1ca12bbb&groupId=73980&t=1387550388891
Seamless Composite Construction
Johnson pioneered the use of gel-coated, seamless fiberglass reinforced plastic panels in refrigerated truck body design. Large, flat molds are used to make the fiberglass reinforced panels (side walls, roof, and front and back) that combine to make a refrigerated truck body.
The result is a seamless composite exterior with no seams or rivets for heat or moisture to pass through.
